Author’s Note:

When formatting these social media posts, the main creative approach I wanted to take

was to create engaging visuals that also coincided with the brand’s message. The goal for each post was to maximize audience retention for groups that will benefit from ChewFit. Specifically, groups that include: busy adults trying to balance nutrition (moms, professionals, etc), those trying to find easier solutions for vitamins (no pills or powders), and customers trying to source natural ingredients for their health (organic and vegan gummy vitamins).  For platforms like Facebook, I wanted the advertisements to focus more on information. Facebook advertisements usually feature more text in their descriptions since they are a combination of pictures and written text. However, for platforms like Instagram, I chose to go with bright, startling visuals to help the advertisements stand out from the feed with easy-to-read text and high-contrast colors. Similar to Facebook, Twitter posts contain equal parts pictures and text, so I wanted to find a balance between elegant visuals and text that accurately hit the correct portions of ChewFit’s campaign slogans. For slogans, each of the ads highlights a different portion of ChewFit’s branding and imagery. Instagram emphasizes the bright, vibrant gummy vitamins and their natural ingredients to create a pop of color on the feed. Facebook discusses the nutritional information and benefits customers can have from consuming the vitamins daily. Finally, the Twitter ads show lifestyle advertising and help to underscore how the vitamins are perfect for athletes on the go or busy moms who don’t have time to factor complicated nutrition into their full schedules. Buzzwords like “organic” and “No mess, no pill, no hassle” were used to help push ChewFit’s marketing ideas toward the front of each advertisement. Additionally, each visual tried to have at least one link or reference to ChewFit’s online store to directly link customers who were interested in purchasing a product based on the advertisement. In looking for peer feedback, my main concern is whether the graphics have the correct balance of informational text and visuals. I tried to lean towards visuals over text, but don’t want to completely drown out the messages ChewFit wants to use within this promotional campaign. Another piece of feedback I would like is whether each post feels specific enough to the platform it’s being posted on (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter). I want each post to feel contextual to the platform it’s on, with subtle changes to help each post take advantage of the social media platform’s posts.
